Who we are …

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Rocky Mount, NC was chartered on July 10, 1931. The Post was redesignated as the Joseph C. Pisarik Memorial Post on September 3, 2021. The post was dedicated to the memory of the long serving Commander of this post. We are part of a dedicated national organization providing a wide range of support programs and services for veterans and military families. With a strong focus on advocacy, mental wellness, legislative priorities, and national security, the VFW aims to ensure veterans receive the care and assistance they deserve.

Through initiatives like the Return the Favor campaign and combatting predatory claim sharks, the VFW emphasizes the importance of supporting veterans and honoring their service and sacrifice. With a network of over 1.4 million members, the VFW continues to be a leading voice in championing the rights and well-being of those who have served our country.
