VFW Post 2057 in partnership with the Ride of Honor are Proud to join together for the first of four Project Built for Honor volunteer workdays. This event allows the VFW to start to update its 40-year-old interior. We are trying to create a more inviting and relaxing space for our local veterans and servicemembers. Our goal for this day if to break down pallets to use the wood for the wall covering. Please bring eye protection, work gloves, and if you have a Sawzall or reciprocating saw to help cut up the pallets. This space will provide a place to meet, share experiences, get advice and assistance and a place to relax. This is a great opportunity for Community Service, Scout and JROTC volunteer hours.
